It has always been a dream of my wife and I to build a home of our own.
We thought it was always going to be a dream. We had all sorts of excuses and concerns about how hard it was going to be to build whilst juggling work, three children and life in general. We had all but given up on the idea. We didn’t even know how to start the process let alone how much it would cost or how long it would take.
A mutual friend arranged for us to have a catch up with Dean at TBS and from our first meeting with we were put at ease.
From the start Dean’s, knowledge, expertise and relationships within the construction industry made our build an enjoyable experience. He was able to provide us with realistic information around what we could afford with our budget and advice around the best way to take our first steps.
He guided us through each step providing expert advice - from how to manage our spending to what color grout to use on out cladding.
We kept an eye on other homes starting their build in the Hamilton area around the same time as us. Most of these houses haven’t had the external cladding installed yet. We moved into our completed home last weekend and we couldn’t be happier with the finished product.
I have no doubt that if we weren’t building with TBS we would still have a very long road ahead of us.
